Title: MELTING OF GREENLAND ICE SHEET HAS INCREASED
Caption: Between 1992 (salmon colored) and 2005 (salmon and red color combined) the portion of the Greenland ice sheet that experienced surface melting during the summer increased considerably. The area of greatest increase was in the southern third of Greenland where the entire ice sheet experienced surface melting during summer months.
